Information we may collect

This may include your name, contact details, appointment and service history, treatment notes, relevant health or contraindication information you choose to provide, referral details, communications with us, payment status and information needed to manage your booking.

If another person refers you or makes an enquiry on your behalf, we may receive limited information from them for the purpose of responding to the referral or arranging your appointment.

Why we collect it

We use personal information to manage bookings, communicate with you, assess whether a treatment is suitable, provide services safely, maintain treatment records, process or reconcile payments, respond to enquiries, administer cancellation or outstanding-fee matters, and meet applicable business or legal obligations.

Booking, payment and service providers

When you book online or make a payment, information may also be processed by the booking, payment, email, website or other service providers we use to operate the business. These providers handle information under their own privacy and security terms. Smooth by Adina Skin does not store your full payment-card details.

Who we may share information with

We do not sell client information. Information is shared only where reasonably necessary to provide or administer our services, process payments, operate our systems, comply with the law, or obtain professional advice. We do not disclose treatment or health information for advertising purposes.

If you choose not to provide information

Providing personal information is generally voluntary. However, we may be unable to confirm a booking or safely perform a treatment if essential contact, booking, payment or relevant health information is not provided.

Storage, security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, unauthorised access, misuse or disclosure. Records are kept only for as long as reasonably required for treatment, client service, business administration and applicable legal or record-keeping obligations, then securely deleted or disposed of where appropriate.

Access and correction

You may ask to access the personal information we hold about you or request a correction, subject to applicable New Zealand privacy law.
